Last week Nora had her CPSE meeting. (Committee for preschool special education)
Due to her evaluation scores she qualifies. She scored a lot lower than I thought she would, but that rant is for another day.
Anyways, the committee recommended that she stay in Early Intervention until August of 2020. Well my recommendation was that she starts an integrated program in January. No one agreed deep down, but I’m the parent so what I say goes. She needs routine and more demands. She’s regressing.
Here we are a week later, and I get a call that only one program within forty minutes has an opening. I called and Andrew and I are touring Friday. I’m nervous. Bus ride. New people. New routine. Nora needs this though. I need to get it together. It’s what is best.
Right?
